I’m very excited about joining Gallery 31 as a partner. Gallery 31 is located in Orleans and is a group of exceptional artists that I am thrilled to work with. This is another example of one door closing and another door opening. This happens over and over for me, and each door is more wonderful than the next!! It is such a spiritual experience for me. I think that I’ll write something about the link between my glass art and my growing spiritual life. This snowy day has me in a reflective mood. Slowing down is such a good thing!

~ ~ Society of Cape Cod Craftsmen Show ~ ~ August 10, 11 & 12
Posted in Baubles, Creativity, EVENTS on July 30, 2010 by Bonnie PerryThe one show that I do all year is coming up! I’m as busy as can be. For some reason I actually do my best work when I work long days and into the night with my glass. I’m in creative overdrive and loving it! The show is Tuesday, August 10 from 10 am to 5 pm, Wednesday, August 11 from 10 am to 7 pm and Thursday, August 12 from 10 am to 5 pm. i do this one show because it is features some of the very best of Cape Cod Crafts. It is an honor to be a part of this show.
What do I have new? I’m having a great time playing with my “off-color” Baubles in my collection I’ve been calling “Simplicity”. I’m feeling like I need to rename this grouping. Please stop by and offer me your suggestion of a new name.
Hope to see you there!
Peppermint!
Posted in Baubles, Beads, Creativity with tags Baubles, Beads, Creativity, Peppermint on December 7, 2009 by Bonnie PerryA friend of mine asked me to create something in red and white. I must say that those colors are not something that I’d be inclined to try, but play around I did. What fun! White on red and red on white with the focus and entertainment value on the variances and texture. They do bring forth a smile. I enjoy naming my creations, but this one had me stumped for a few months. I didn’t want to name it “Carol” – although she did inspire me to work “out of the box”. It came to me in a flash the other day – as often happens – PEPPERMINT! Maybe it’s the season, but it seems to fit perfectly. I always feel complete when the name comes to me. Maybe that’s how authors feel when the title of their recent book emerges.

New Locations
Posted in Gallery, Shop on November 23, 2009 by Bonnie PerryThere are two new locations on Cape Cod and one in Naples, Florida that carry an extensive selection of my work.
Look in the windows at Guertin Brothers Jewelers, 394 Main Street, Hyannis, and you’ll see several of my collections. Of course, I name my favorites. Ruffle, Raku, Contrast, Serendipity and Autumn Jazz can be found at Guertins.
If you’re heading south, you can stop in Random Acts of Art on Fifth Avenue in Naples, Florida. This is a vibrant gallery which gives me a boost in energy as soon as I walk in the door. An adventure from start to finish.
Upcoming Shows!
Posted in Beads, EVENTS, Shows, Shows & Exhibits with tags Cape Cod, Serendipity, Show on August 7, 2009 by Bonnie PerryI’m delighted to be doing two shows this summer and am very excited to feature my new Serendipity Collection -blues and greens inspired by our Cape Cod ocean and sky. This blue-green /ocean-sky idea came to me late last summer. I began selecting blue and green glass and staging it on my glass table. The colors were in my head all winter. Finally this spring the collection was actually born!
