On this simply sparkling day I should be in my studio making beads, but today I am inspired to begin my blog. I took photos of the beads that came out of my kiln and will share them with you. I need to get busy making new pieces out of my winter’s stash of new beads. My Harbor Your Arts artist shanty, located at the town dock on Ocean Street in Hyannis, is opening on Saturday, May 17. I grew up not far from the dock and it does feel like coming home again. Spring – a new beginning – birds singing, carrying twigs for nests, flowers bloomimg in the garden and a new season in my shanty. Everything seems just as it should be.

Congrats Bonnie! What a great site, your beads are absolutely beautiful! I really like your header too. Time well spent.
Bonnie, what a great job you did with this site. I love the lay out. As for feedback; I didn’t know you showed at the Artist’s Shanty, can this event (and other events) be made more prominent on your page? What about adding an About button (look under widgets).
Best to you!
Robert
I LIKE it, Bonnie!!
Really this looks great, I love the theme you chose for the blog, it works really well with your work, everything shows so well.
See you soon,
Dona
Great choice of layout — the dark colors really make your beads pop. Once you get in the habit, the blogging won’t seem like a chore or a time-suck — it’s a way to get the news out about all the work you do the rest of the time, so that ALL your time is well-spent, AND well-rewarded.
Congrats on your “BLOG”it is important with todays technology to have this up and running. It is a great way to show the world how talanted you are. Your work is beautiful and I love how you are inspired by nature. When I was in your studio I loved the black with multi color stripes best. very unique. You are my new mentor. Good luck I’m sure I’ll see you this summer at the shanty.
Hi Bonnie,
Your Blog looks great! And your title echos my feelings of ” I should be working instead of on the computer. But Beth is turning me around about it’s potential!
