What a coincidence!

23 04 2008

I just got an email from someone who bought one of my necklaces last summer.  She shared with me the most  outlandish coincidence.  She attended a wedding in the Bahamas and met another wedding guest also wearing one of my necklaces!  It is a small world.  They had what sounded like a delightful conversation about my work.  That just proves it. One never knows…..

Your picture of your beads prompts me to ask if you ever thought of marketing artistic glass buttons. I believe fashion houses feature those. Your beads are fashion house quality.

Hey, Joy, that is a great idea! I even have the special mandrels (metal rods) for making buttons. I made some for a knitter friend. Why spend a gazillion hours knitting a sweater or a felted bag and then go down to your local craft store and by regular, store-bought buttons? Maybe I can do a button line. I’d have to call them “Bonnie’s Buttons”. Could be cool.
Thanks for the inspiration. My mind is spinning with buttons. You should see the colors! . Now I just need to be cloned …..so that I can do everything that I want to do…smile.
